WHO IS HE?
He is the Bread of Life – “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. He shall live forever. The bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in Him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me. It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life” (Jn 6:35, 49, 50, 51, 56, 57, 63).
WHO ARE WE?
We Believe in the Bread – “Do not grumble among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him. They shall all be taught of God. Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. Believe in Him whom the Father has sent. Come to Me. Believe in Me. Everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life. As a result of this teaching, many of His disciples withdrew. Jesus said to the twelve, ‘You do not want to go away also, do you?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have believed and have come to know You are the Holy One of God’” (Jn 6:44, 45, 29, 35, 39, 66, 68, 69).
