Day 2: Jesus is the Righteous Judge

He is the Righteous Judge – “When the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones. The Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son. I can do nothing of Myself. As I hear, I judge. My judgment is righteous. He who rejects Me, the words I have spoken will judge him in the last day. God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. He is the One whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and wages war. I saw a great white throne, and Him who sat upon it. The nations, Babylon, the great harlot, the devil, the beast and the false prophet were judged. The dead were judged according to their deeds. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (Mt 19:28, Jn 5:22, 30, 12:48, Rom 2:16, Acts 10:42, Rev.19:11, 20:11, 11:18, 18:10, 19:2, 20:10, 20:12: 21:1, 2 Pet 3:13).

WHO ARE WE?

We are Examined by Christ –Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment. He who is spiritual judges all things. We have the mind of Christ. The One who examines me is Christ. Therefore, do not go on passing judgment before time, but wait until the Lord comes who will bring to light the motives of each man’s heart. It is appointed to man to die, and after that, the judgment. We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. If any man’s work remains, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire. Fear God, give Him glory and worship Him, for the hour of His judgment has come” (Jn 7:24, 1 Cor 2:15, 16, 4:4, 5, Heb 9:27, 2 Cor 5:10, 1 Cor 3:14, 15, Rev 14:7).
