WHO IS HE?
He is Our Teacher – “Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom. When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes. ‘What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands ever the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.’ Jesus answered, ‘My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.’ Teacher, I will follow You wherever you go. Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the law? In His teaching He was saying, ‘Beware of the scribes’” (Mt 4:23, 7:28-29, 8:19, Mk 1:27, Jn 7:16, 22:36, Mk 12:38).
WHO ARE WE?
We are Instructed – “A disciple in not above his teacher. It is enough for the disciple to become like his teacher. Everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life? Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Teach them to observe all that I commanded you. We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you, for His anointing teaches you all things. If anyone abides in the teaching of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son” (Mt 10:24-25, 7:24, 19:16, Jn 3:3, 28:19, Col 1:28, 1 Jn 2:27, 2 Jn 1:9).
