Day 29: Jesus is the Christ

He is The Christ – “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows… He found first his own brother Simon and said to him, ‘We have found the Messiah,’ which translated means ‘Christ.’ The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming, He who is called ‘Christ.’ When John, while imprisoned, heard the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples. Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. The high priest said to Him, ‘I adjure You by the living God, that you tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God.’ ‘What shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?’ Know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ – this Jesus whom you crucified. IN the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ” (Mt 1:18, Jn 1:41, 4:25, Mt 11:2, 16:16, 26:63, 27:17, Acts 3:36, Rom 15:19).

We are Christians “Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene – walk! They kept on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. We are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants. The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years” (Acts 2:38, 3:6, 5:42, 11:26, Phil 1:21, Heb 13:18, 1 Pet 3:15, 2 Pet 3:18, 1 Jn 5:20, Rev 1:1, 11:15, 20:5).
