WHO IS HE?
He is Our Prince of Peace – “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. For he himself is our Peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your heart and minds through Christ Jesus” (Is 9:6, Eph 2:14, Jn 14:27, Phil 4:7).
WHO ARE WE?
We are Peaceful – “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, saying ‘Your God reigns.’ Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless” (Is 26:3, Col 3:15, 2 Tim 2:22, Is 52:7, Rom 10:15, 2 Pet 3:14).
