Day 35: Jesus is our King

He is Our King Who Sits on the Throne of David – “As for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain. The Lord says to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet. Rule in the midst of Your enemies.’ I will raise up your (David’s) descendant after you and I will establish the throne of His kingdom forever.  One like a son of Man came up before the Ancient of Days. To Him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him. There will be no end to the increase of His government on the throne of David and over His kingdom. The (Rebellious) will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” (Ps 2:6, 110:1-2, 2 Sam 7:12-13, Is 9:7, Rev. 17:14)

We Proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom “How blessed are all who take refuge in Him (The King). Make ready the way of the Lord. Make His paths straight. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed. Worship the Lord with reverence, do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power. Go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give” (Ps 2:12, Is 40:3, 5, Ps 2:11-12, Ps 110:3, Mt 4:17, 10:7-8).
