40 DAYS OF DEVOTION
WHO IS HE?
He is the Overcomer – “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. I lead justice to victory. As I move in strength in bringing the kingdom of God, I cast out demons, attack Beelzebul and overcome Him. I take away all his armor and distribute his plunder. I have the keys of death and Hades. Death is swallowed up in victory. I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the scroll and its seven seals. Ten kings and the beast will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them. We give thanks, O Lord God, because you have taken Your great power and have begun to reign” (Jn 16:33, Mt 12:20, Lk 11:20, 22, Rev 1:18, 1 Cor 15:54, Rev. 3:21, 5:5, 17:14, 11:15).
WHO ARE WE?
We are Overcomers – “Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. You have overcome the wicked one. He who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life. He will not be hurt by the second death. I will give overcomers some of the hidden manna and a white stone with a new name which no one else knows. I will give overcomers power over nations, white garments and I will confess their name before My Father. I will make overcomers a pillar in the temple of My God, and they shall go out no more. I will write on overcomers the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, and I will write on them My new name. I will grant to them to sit down with me on my throne. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (Rom 12:21, 1 Jn 5:4, 5, 2:14, Rev 2:7, 11, 17, 26, 3:5, 12, 21, 21:7).
